NEPAL RANKS 6TH IN NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC TRAVELER’S COOL HOLIDAY LIST FOR 2016

Kathmandu – National Geographic Traveler, a supplementary magazine from National Geographic Society, has released its list of 16 ‘Cool’ holiday destinations not to be missed in 2016.

The list was published on the online portal of Daily Mail – UK, Mail Online, on 7 December 2015, which comes up with some of the surprising names in the tourism industry. The list is championed by the Iran, which is – indeed – a beautiful place of culture, religion and Persian architectures, with an expectation of attribution to the bright future of Iran via tourism industry.

Nepal ranks on the 6th position, whereas Costa Rica grabs the second and Cuba stays on the 5th position. Writer Becky Pemberton for Mail Online writes, “Tourist numbers to Nepal plummeted by 85 per cent after the devastating earthquakes, but the country is once more open for business and safe to visit.”

Nepal to receive such good advocacy from the international media and to rank above beautiful cum cool destinations, like Shanghai (ranks 7) and Rio de Janeiro (ranks 12) is a gesture of love and trust from all over the world.
