Mt. Cho Oyu Expedition 8,201m
Cho Oyu is the sixth highest mountain in the world and Located on the Tibet and Nepal border, Cho Oyu is known to be one of the easiest of the world's fourteen 8,000 meter mountain. This is because the ascent to the summit is short and direct, with a few small technical sections climbed in safety using fixed ropes. Just a few kilometers west of Cho Oyu is Nangpa La (5,716m/18,753ft), a glaciated pass that serves as the main trading route between the Tibetans and the Khumbu's Sherpas. Due to its proximity to this pass and the generally moderate slopes of the standard northwest ridge route, some climbers consider Cho Oyu to be the easiest 8,000 meter peak to climb which these days is becoming a popular objective for mountaineers. We will take you Kathmandu via Zhangmu. We will climb Cho Oyu via the West Ridge/West Face, which has two short technical sections. Advanced Base Camp (ABC) will be established at 5800 meters (19,024 feet), Camp I at 6500 meters, Camp II at 7100 meters (23,288 feet), and Camp III at 7400 meters (24,272 feet). The ascent to the summit is short and direct with a few small technical sections which can be climbed safely using fixed lines. The normal route may not be called a technically difficult climb. However, climbing Cho Oyu is the most popular, the mountain being one of the highest on earth. We have best technical mountaineering leaders who will lead and support you to complete your dream with minimum effort.

Mt. Dhaulagiri Expedition 8,167m
Mount Dhaulagiri is the seventh highest mountain in the world. It is an enormous Himalayan massif located in north central Nepal. It is the highest mountain located entirely within Nepal. Dhaulagiri is almost unique in the world in terms of its rise above local terrain, it rises 7000m. Over Kaligandaki gorge the south east in about 30 km of distance. In fact, Kali Gandaki is dramatic as two eight thou sanders, Annapurna I & Dhaulagiri both stand near the river facing each other over a deep valley. Dhaulagiri was first climbed on May 13, 1960 by Kurt Diemberger, Peter Diener, Ernst Forrer, Albin Schelbert, Nyima Dorji and Nawang Dorji, members of a Swiss and Austrian expedition. The normal climbing route is considered a reasonable climb with only short technical climbing sections and moderate avalanche danger. The South and West faces of Dhaulagiri both feature massive drops; each rises over 4000 meters from its base, and each has been the site of epic climbs. The tangled topography of twisting ridges, glaciers, and ice falls is crested by a stretch of thirty miles. Several pyramid-shaped peaks rise along the main crest. Four of the summits, numbered form east to west, rise above 25,000 feet. In this moment there are more than six different routes established with variations, and the possibility of more. Nepal Big Smile Treks & Travel is pleased to offer for our beloved Expedition members to this unforgettable and highly exciting mountain expedition in Mt. Kongma Tse Peak Climbing 5,849m
Khongma Tse stands above the Khumbu Glacier opposite Lobuche and is also known as Mehra Peak. It is one of several summits, including Pokhalde, that make up the long southwest ridge of Nuptse carved out between the Khumbu and Nuptse Glaciers. The views of the massive south face of Nuptse, Pumori to the north and the Lho La are simply spectacular from the summit. The usual route to the mountain follows the Everest base camp route until leaving that trail to gain the Imja valley and the east side of the Kongma La. The primary routes of ascent are from the south by crossing several moraines between two well marked lakes below the snout of the glacier. Hiunchuli Peak Climbing 6,441m
Hiunchuli Peak lies in the Annapurna range and it is connected to Annapurna south. Discovered by Col. Jimmy Roberts, it is one of the three major trekking peaks within the “Annapurna Sancturary,” to be named by Roberts. The mountains of this area are considered sacred by the Gurungs who inhabit the region. The other two peaks within the sanctuary are Tharpu Chuli (tent peak) and Singu Chuli (fluted peak). Hiunchuli was first summated by an American Peace Corps Expedition under the Leadership of Craig Anderson in October 1971. Hiunchuli peak climbing is not so difficult technically but there is still danger of rock falling. Considered as one of the most complex climbs, the trek to the Hiunchuli Peak requires technicality and experience.

Larkya Peak Climbing 6,249m
Larkya Peak is a very satisfying peak to climb in combination with the Manaslu Circuit Trek. It offers fairly easy climbing with fabulous views of Manaslu, the Annapurna’s, Ganesh Himal and beyond.
There is often confusion however about which peak it is and groups are often lead up a steep line to a subsidiary peak known as Sano (small) Larkya (5,807 m). Base camp is close to the Larkya La, a pass of 5,135 m. Sano Larkya Peak can be climbed in a long day from this base camp. However, to climb Thulo (big) Larkya (6,249 m), a high camp is needed.
Reaching this true Larkya Peak is a long but easy climb on snow slopes that are slightly less steep than Sano Larkya Peak. The best option for climbers is to make a high camp and then complete both peaks.

Mardi Himal Peak Climbing 5,587m
Mardi Himal is the most southerly of the Annapurna range and is also one of the least climbed and probably the easiest of our expeditions in Nepal. This peak is located in the east of the Modi Khola, across the valley from Hiunchuli. Its east face is separated from Machhapuchare ridge by a Col 5200m. /17,060ft. The peak has a commanding view of the Annapurna range and undoubtedly a spectacular one of the Himalayan Matterhorn, Machhapuchare. The mountain has a great deal of potential for those interested in small scale exploratory mountaineering with the benefit of climbing it in a round trip of a little over 2 weeks. The approach to Base Camp is through a remote forested valley of bamboo and rhododendron typical of lowland Nepal. A high camp is established above Base Camp from which the route to the summit goes up a snow couloirs to the snow slopes that lead to the summit.

Mustang Treks
Overview
The word ‘Mustang’ conjures up ideas of remoteness and seclusion, a region lost amongst the mountains. This was an independent country until it was closely consolidated into Nepal just a few decades ago. Mustang Trek is rather easy as most of the route goes along the bank of Kali Gandaki River and eventually leads you to Lo Manthang, the capital of Mustang at 3730 meter, which is the highest point on this trip.
Mustang was only opened to trekkers in March 1992 and you will be part of a small privileged minority to visit this remote outpost of Nepal. The capital of the Mustang district is actually Jomsom but the Tibetan influenced area north of Kagbeni is known as Upper Mustang. It is this area which we will explore fully, discovering the wonders of the architecture, language, culture and traditions which are almost purely Tibetan in this once upon a time mystical kingdom.
